Saturday’s Photography Trivia Question

Congratulations to Shanna Merhi for correctly answering Saturday’s trivia question:

Which of the following aperture settings will give you the greater depth of field?
f/16
f/2
f/8

Answer:  F/16!  Depth of field is the amount of distance between the nearest and farthest objects that appear in acceptable sharp focus in a photograph. The smaller aperture numbers (f/1.2, f/2) actually have larger lens openings which throw the background images out of focus. For greater depth of field, you want to use apertures of f/16, f/22, etc. which have a smaller lens opening but extend the depth of field.  Shanna wins a free Facebook profile image!
